When You’re Not Ready to Hire a Marketer, And You Still Need Guidance on What to Do Next
Hire a Marketing Coach
Together, we’ll get clear on what success looks like for your product or offering, and create a plan for what you need to do with your online presence to make success real.
If you’re already working with other service providers, such as a website developer, that’s better still. My role as your coach is not to be the performer who does everything for you (That’s a different service, and I charge more for that.) Instead, my role as your marketing coach is to provide professional assessments and recommendations, focused on small, systematic, actionable steps that you can take for improvement of your results.
In particular, we’ll focus on the conversations you need to be having with those who are doing the work for you, so that you can be a better customer. We’ll cover things like:
- What requests you need to make,
- Of which technical providers,
- To take what specific actions
- To produce what result,
- For what purpose,
- and how to assess satisfaction.
Where you don’t have the performers to take care of key actions, I’ll provide guidance and referrals for who in my network can deliver the services you need.
Where you’re not sure what to do next, we’ll prioritize the low-hanging fruit and review success criteria.
Together, we’ll setup a recurring time each month to go over your progress and objectives, with a heavy focus on the concrete metrics you can use to assess success on what’s most important to you.
What Marking Coaching is NOT
This is not a once-and-done solution. It’s going to take time, and you are going to have to work, and learn! For that reason, the expectation is that we’ll be working together for at least 3 months. If you need results faster, as so many do, then you don’t really need a marketing coach. What you need is a Certified Digital Marketing Professional, and to enter into a marketing contract. For that, let’s have a conversation to see what’s best for you.
